Lisa Donahue
Lisa Donahue is the Director of Administrative Services for the Solano County Sheriff's Office, a position she has held since January 2022. Lisa's tenure with the Sheriff's Office began in 2014 as a Staff Analyst, and she was promoted to Senior Staff Analyst in June 2019. Prior to the Sheriff’s Office, Lisa spent nine years with the County's General Services Department, where she supervised several programs, including Mail Services, Inactive Records, and Surplus Property.
As the Director of Administrative Services, Lisa oversees a broad range of functions, including budget and fiscal administration, contract and grant management, Animal Care Services, Employee Services, Records & Warrants, Civil Services, and technology operations. Lisa also serves as the chair of both the Sheriff’s Office Inmate Welfare Fund and Solano County’s Remote Access Network (RAN) Board.
Lisa is deeply committed to public service and has an extensive history of community involvement. She previously served on the City of Fairfield's Community Services Commission and Planning Commission and was a member of the Fairfield Community Services Foundation Board of Directors from 2010 to 2015, including a term as President in 2014. In August of 2024, Lisa was appointed to the First 5 Solano Children and Families Commission on which she currently serves.
A graduate of the University of California, Davis, Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics and a minor in History. A fifth-generation resident of Solano County and a third-generation Solano County employee, Lisa lives in Fairfield with her wife and their four sons.
