Solano County Animal Care Division is responsible for the care of all stray, injured, abandoned, and unwanted animals for the seven surrounding cities: Benicia, Dixon, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City, Vacaville, and Vallejo.
We are devoted and dedicated to the service of our residents and welfare of all animals residing in Solano County.
Our Mission: To provide comfort, care, and compassion to animals in need through shelter, education, adoption, spay/neuter, and community outreach.
Stop by the shelter and visit our beautiful cat and dog adoption areas and maybe meet your new best friend.
Visit our low-cost clinic for vaccinations, microchipping, licensing or to schedule a spay/neuter appointment.
Give us a call and speak to one of our wonderful team members for any questions or concerns.
We are working towards a common goal to increase our live release rate, increase animal to owner reunification and decrease euthanasia.
